Silverdome or Rock Financial?
Hey guys thanks for all your replies last week on the Silverdome show. So far it looks like a great idea. Now I am wondering which you like better... Silverdome or Rock Financial showplace. We have a quote from Rock, but nothing yet from the Silverdome.
We were thinking of doing the show at the Rock after Autorama sometime in April. We have talked them before and would take up the entire 200,000 sq. feet of space. This would be enough for about 400 "selected" cars, 300 booths, entertainment stage, and small swap area.

P.S. We had come up with a logo for this last year also. We would love to do this show but would need help and participation from our the cruiser community. We have tried events ourselves with hired help over the last two years and failed miserably.

Either venue would work. You may get a better deal on the Silverdome since the new owners will be trying to get it going again. Also you should contact the local car clubs for assistance/volunteers. I would also like to see a car corral of cars for sale and a swap meet outside in the parking lot.

The Silverdome is a larger facility than the Rock, and in my opinion, is more centrally located to attract a wider audience and more cruisers. The rental rate should be much better at the Dome.

Silverdome. Rock Fin is a long ways away for any east siders.

My choice is the SilverDome. Larger facility - more room for possible parts vendors and food vendors.
