About Me...
Retired from GM after 43 years in 2005. The 1964 Corvette was my first new car (ordered two days after getting out of college - General Motors Institute). It was my only car for 2 years 8 months. Then, courtesy of a drunk driver, the car was totaled. I bought the car back from the insurance company for $500.00 and finally got the car back on the road after 18 years (1985). I did almost all of the work except the machine work on the engine. Most every year I try to add something to the car and until 2007 I did all of the work myself. That year I finally had flames added to the front end and side vents. I didn't have the talent so I had to have someone do the paint work but I still have some other projects in mind. It will probably never really be finished.
